A cool recipe: Our refreshing ice cream for cats

What could be more enjoyable than relaxing on a hot summer’s day with a cold ice cream? Your cat will also appreciate this great way to cool down. We will show you how to prepare a delicious cat ice cream for your four-legged friend in three easy steps. Let’s get started!

For our delicious Milkies ice cream you will need:

  • 1 of our Milkies single-portion cups
  • 1 spoon

And this is what you have to do:

  1. Push a metal or plastic spoon through the lid of the single-portion cup from above, ensuring that the spoon remains in place.
  2. Place the cup in the freezer for around three hours.
  3. Remove the lid of the cup and use the spoon to pull the ice cream out of the packaging – it is best to let it thaw for a few minutes.
  4. The delicious refreshing treat is ready.

To avoid monotony, our Milkies cups are available in four delicious varieties: BeautyActive, Balance and Harmony. With nutritious ingredients from fruits or green tea as well as malt and taurine, our delicious snack provides your cat with essential vitamins and minerals, even when frozen as ice cream.

Before you give your pet the homemade cat ice cream to try, it is best if it is already familiar with the ingredients for the ice cream and likes to eat them. If you would like to try out a few variations in the future, there are a few things you should keep in mind: Do not serve the ice cream completely frozen; make sure it has thawed slightly. Like humans, cats can suffer from ice-cream headache if they eat food that is too cold too quickly.

Also, do not forget that the ice cream for cats is nothing more than a snack. The portion you serve should therefore not be too big. Not only because this cooling treat has quite a few calories, but because too much ice cream can upset your cat’s stomach. If you have your own recipe idea for the cat ice cream, there is no reason why you shouldn’t try it out. But do not use chocolate, raw pork or sultanas in cat ice cream. These foods are poisonous for your four-legged friend.
