How much cat food should a cat be given per day?
When calculating the daily amount of food, the weight, age and activity level of the cat should always be taken into account. Our specialist vet, Dr Radicke, will provide you with precise individual feeding recommendations.
The following feeding recommendation serves as a general guideline:
- if a cat weighs 3 kg, it can be given 180 g of food per day
- at a weight of 4 kg it should receive 220 g
- if it weighs 5 kg, the cat should be given 260 g
