When calculating the ideal amount of food for dogs, the weight, age and temperament of the pet should always be taken into account.

The following recommended amounts can be used as a rough guideline:

• if the dog weighs 7 kg, it can be given 400 g of food a day
• dogs with a weight of 10 kg should receive 525 g daily
• at a weight of 17 kg the dog should be given 785 g
