INTEGRA PROTECT Intestinal: special dietary food for use in cases of acute diarrhoea
INTEGRA PROTECT Intestinal is a dietary food that has been specially developed for dogs with acute diarrhoea. To allow the intestinal flora to regenerate as quickly as possible, this dry food contains easy-to-digest animal proteins and well-tolerated carbohydrates.
Dogs with acute diarrhoea lose not only fluids but also sodium and potassium (electrolytes). INTEGRA PROTECT Intestinal compensates for these losses and is gluten-free.
Feeding recommendation
When calculating the ideal amount of food for dogs, the age, weight and temperament of the pet should always be taken into account.
The following recommended amounts can be used as a general guideline:
- if a dog weighs 5 kg, it can be given 85 g of food a day
- if it weighs 10 kg, it should receive 145 g
- if the dog has a weight of 20 kg, the daily amount of food should be 235 g
