INTEGRA PROTECT Renal Yummy Bits: crunchy snack for cats with chronic renal insufficiency
Not even cats with chronic renal insufficiency want to miss out on a delicious snack. INTEGRA PROTECT Renal Yummy Bits have been specially developed for cats with kidney disorders.
This crunchy snack for cats can be fed as a treat in between meals, and also as a complete food. The amount of protein and phosphorus has been reduced in order to delay the progressive loss of the kidney function.
Feeding recommendation
When calculating the ideal amount of food for cats, the age, weight and temperament of the pet should always be taken into account.
The following recommended amounts can be used as a general guideline:
- if a cat weighs 3 kg, it can be given 35 g of food a day
- if it weighs 4 kg, it should receive 40 g
- a cat that weighs 5 kg can be given 50 g
