INTEGRA PROTECT Diabetes with beef: special dietary food for diabetic cats

INTEGRA PROTECT Diabetes with beef is tailored to the special nutritional requirements of cats with diabetes mellitus. This diabetes cat food has a high protein content and at the same time contains a low amount of carbohydrates – which means that the cat’s blood sugar level remains as constant as possible after eating.

INTEGRA PROTECT Diabetes with beef tastes great to diabetic cats. The dietary food can – in combination with an insulin treatment coordinated by the vet – improve the wellbeing of a pet with diabetes.

Feeding recommendation

When calculating the ideal amount of food for cats, the age, weight and temperament of the pet should always be taken into account.

The following recommended amounts can be used as a general guideline:

  • if a cat weighs 3 kg, it can be given 200 g of food a day
  • if it weighs 4 kg, it should receive 245 g
  • a cat that weighs 5 kg can be given 285 g

Our specialist vet, Dr Radicke, will be happy to provide you with individually tailored feeding recommendations for the missing weights.
