INTEGRA PROTECT Renal with chicken: dietary food for dogs with renal insufficiency

INTEGRA PROTECT Renal with chicken has been developed by vets for dogs with chronic renal insufficiency. This dietary food contains less protein than conventional dog foods, which minimises the amount of protein breakdown products that have to be excreted.

The special dietary food is also phosphorus-reduced, which can delay the progression of the condition. This food for four-legged friends with kidney insufficiency can improve both the quality of life and the life expectancy of the dog.

Feeding recommendation

When calculating the ideal amount of food for dogs, the age, weight and temperament of the pet should always be taken into account.

The following recommended amounts can be used as a general guideline:

  • if a dog weighs 3 kg, it can be given 200 g of food a day
  • if it weighs 9 kg, it should receive 400 g
  • if the dog has a weight of 22 kg, it can be given 800 g daily

INTEGRA PROTECT dietary food is tailored to the special requirements of dogs with health conditions. Our INTEGRA PROTECT special diet for dogs is available for the following conditions:

  • in cases of chronic renal insufficiency
  • in cases of food allergies
  • gastrointestinal disorders with acute diarrhoea

Composition

Meat and animal derivatives (15 % chicken, pork), vegetable (potatoes), oils and fats, derivatives of vegetable origin, minerals. Protein sources: chicken, pork.
