INTEGRA PROTECT Renal with pork: special wet dog food for use in cases of renal insufficiency

Dogs with chronic renal insufficiency require a food that is specially tailored to their particular nutritional needs. INTEGRA PROTECT Renal with pork has a reduced phosphorus and protein content. This reduces the amount of protein breakdown products that the kidneys have to excrete. It also helps to delay further loss of kidney tissue.

This kidney diet can therefore sustainably improve the dog’s wellbeing and significantly extend its life expectancy. INTEGRA PROTECT Renal with pork also tastes good to dogs with chronic renal insufficiency.

Feeding recommendation

When calculating the ideal amount of food for dogs, the age, weight and temperament of the pet should always be taken into account.

The following recommended amounts can be used as a general guideline:

  • if a dog weighs 3 kg, it can be given 125 g of food a day
  • if it weighs 9 kg, it should receive 300 g
  • if the dog has a weight of 16 kg, the daily amount of food should be 450 g
