Feeding recommendation

When calculating the ideal amount of food for cats, the age, weight and temperament of the pet should always be taken into account.

The following recommended amounts can be used as a general guideline for kittens:

  • a kitten that is 3 months old and weighs 1.2 kg should be given 165 g of food daily
  • a 5-month-old kitten weighing 2.4 kg can be given 210 g
  • a 7-month-old kitten with a weight of 3.4 kg should receive 235 g

Our specialist vet, Dr Radicke, will be happy to provide individually tailored feeding recommendations for the missing weights.
