Feeding recommendation

When calculating the ideal amount of food for cats, the age, weight and temperament of the pet should always be taken into account.

The following recommended amounts can be used as a general guideline:

  • if a cat weighs 3 kg, it can be given 230 g of food a day
  • a cat that weighs 4 kg can receive 275 g
  • at a weight of 5 kg a cat should be given no more than 320 g

Our specialist vet, Dr Radicke, will be happy to provide individually tailored feeding recommendations for the missing weights.
