How much food should I give my cat per day?
The amount of food a cat should be given daily depends, among other things, on its age, weight and individual level of activity. Our specialist vet, Dr Radicke, prepares feeding recommendations individually tailored to the cat’s needs.
The following quantities can be used as a general guideline:
- at a weight of 3 kg, a cat can be given 200 g of food per day
- if it weighs 4 kg, it should receive 230 g
- if it weighs 5 kg, it can be given 270 g
